Nuovo is an interactive communication system solution which designed considering elderly people. It is an internet-led system with the blend of a communication device, inductive charging unit and common interface card for interactive television interface. Communication device combines the mobile phone(VoIP) and remote control which are most problem causing everyday devices for elderly as it has been researched. It is made of touch screen display with haptic feedback technology. It has convex shapes that give the button feeling to the user. The interface of the television display and communication device is designed to fulfil the needs of elderly. The graphics, sounds, colours, icons were designed considering elderly users yet it can be used by all age groups. Nuovo is universal design product which eases the usability problems of elderly and creates an alternative use of touch screen device.
